Picture of a book called Leading the Listening Organisation

Co-founder Howard Krais co-authored Leading the Listening Organisation, published in December 2023.

The book is the first to look at how organisations listen to their employees, recognising that listening is a leadership focus. It is the culmination of the work on organisational listening that the team started in 2018. This work includes four reports that are available to all.

Leading the Listening Organisation considers how organisations listen, learn and adapt to their environment and how listening drives success and long-term sustainability. It focuses on how employees can use the voice of their people to improve decision-making, innovation and performance. It is about why listening to employees matters and how to do it well.

Howard is a speaker much in demand in both public HR and Communications conferences and client events.

Together with writing and talking about Listening, we have also developed a range of products and services that can help your business to improve how it listens. This includes Echo©, our listening audit product developed together with Couravel, and a range of training options that can be deployed for leadership teams, communications or HR teams.

“ This book is essential reading for those looking to unleash the power of listening to turbo-charge their organisations. Better listening forges deeper understanding, connection and empathy. In short, it proves those who listen harder learn – and achieve – more.”

Simon Smith, Chief People Officer, Aston Martin
