Managing and leading People through Organisational Change

People-centred change is at the heart of what we do at True, so I was honoured to be invited to contribute to Professor Julie Hodges’ new book Managing and Leading People through Organisational Change (3rd edition).

In my case study, I share business insights on creating a safe space for dialogue during a major change programme. By engaging teams in open conversation, we were able to build trust, surface concerns, and move forward together with clarity and commitment.

Julie’s book brings together leading voices on organisational change management with practical examples and research to guide leaders. It highlights how effective change requires more than process—it requires respect for people, their voices, and their experiences.

I’m proud to contribute to this important resource and hope it inspires more leaders across the UK and beyond to make dialogue and listening central to their approach.
